Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Throne app ("Throne", "the app"), published by ootssu ("we", "us"). By downloading or using Throne you agree to these Terms.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Throne on devices you own or control. On iPhone, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula) and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions also apply. On Android, the Google Play Terms of Service apply. These Terms supplement whichever of those applies to you.

2. Subscriptions (Throne Premium)

• Throne offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, Throne Premium, available in two options: Monthly at $2.99/month and Annual at $19.99/year. The annual plan includes a 7-day free trial. Local equivalents are shown in the App Store or Google Play at purchase time, and prices may vary by region and by each store's pricing tiers.
• Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase to the account of the store you installed Throne from — your Google Play account on Android, your Apple ID on iPhone.
• The 7-day free trial on the annual plan automatically converts to a paid subscription unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the then-current price unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• To manage or cancel your subscription, open Google Play → Subscriptions → Throne Premium (Android) or Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Throne Premium (iPhone). Purchases do not transfer between Google Play and the App Store.
• Refunds are handled by the store you bought from — Google Play refunds on Android, reportaproblem.apple.com on iPhone.
• The free tier of Throne remains usable without an active subscription.

3. Not medical advice

Throne is a general wellbeing and self-tracking tool. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and does not provide medical, clinical, or diagnostic advice. The summaries, correlations, and red-flag prompts in the app are for general informational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional medical judgment. If you notice blood in stool, persistent changes, or have any health concern, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, reverse engineer it except as permitted by applicable law, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

5. Intellectual property

Throne, its name, logo, and content are owned by ootssu and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you.

6. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

Throne is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ootssu is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any reliance on its summaries or prompts for health decisions.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
