No sign-up required

Solca works without an account. The first time the app needs our server (an AI excuse or forecast, a purchase, or cloud sync), it creates a private guest session with a random ID. No email or name is attached to it. You can link an account later in Settings → Account (iPhone: Sign in with Apple, Google or email; Android: Google or email), which keeps the same ID and your data.

What we collect

• Account info (optional): if you link an account, your email address or an opaque Apple/Google user identifier, stored in Supabase Auth and used only to identify your account. Guests have a random ID only.
• Activity logs: the activities you log (drain/recharge events, timestamps, notes) are stored on your device. If you are a Pro subscriber, they are also synced to Supabase under your ID with row-level security — only you can read your rows.
• AI requests: when you generate excuses, the situation you type and the tone you pick are sent through our server to Anthropic's Claude API; for a forecast, your last 7 days of activity categories, energy changes and timestamps plus today's battery level are sent. We do not store the text you type or the generated results. To enforce free and fair-use limits we record only the time and type of each request against your ID, and a salted, one-way hash of your network address (never the address itself).
• Subscription state: managed by RevenueCat with Apple App Store or Google Play billing. RevenueCat knows your Solca ID and your entitlement status. We never receive card numbers or payment details.

What we don't collect

• Solca does not use HealthKit or Health Connect, and does not read any health data from your device.
• We do not use advertising identifiers or track you across other apps or websites.
• We do not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or location.
• We do not embed analytics SDKs or third-party ad networks.

Third-party services we use

• Supabase — database and authentication host. Stores your ID (and email if linked), Pro-synced activity logs, and request counters.
• Anthropic (Claude API) — generates excuses and forecasts. Called only from our server. Anthropic does not use API data to train its models; it may keep request data for up to 30 days for abuse and safety monitoring, then deletes it.
• RevenueCat — manages subscription entitlements. Receives your Solca ID and purchase status, never your activity logs.
• Apple / Google — only if you link Sign in with Apple (iPhone) or Google (iPhone and Android). We receive an authentication token and (optionally) your email.

How long we keep your data

Synced activity logs and your profile are kept until you delete them. Request counters (time and type only) are kept for 60 days; hashed network counters for 7 days. Before October 2026, AI requests were stored with their text in an excuse history table; those older records are deleted 12 months after they were created, or right away when you delete your data.

Deleting your data

Open Settings → Account in the app and tap Delete my data (guest) or Delete account (linked account). This permanently deletes your Solca activity logs, daily battery history and profile from our servers right away, and clears the logs on that device. Your sign-in record is deleted too, unless the same sign-in is used by another OOTSSU app — in that case only Solca's data is removed and the other app keeps working. Request counters (no content, only time and type) are not reset by deletion, so free limits can't be restarted by deleting and re-creating data. Children

Solca is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 17.
