데이터 사용
계정 없이 동작합니다. 저장한 경로와 즐겨찾는 카메라는 기기에만 저장됩니다. 경로·장소 검색은 지도 제공자(Apple/Google)로, CCTV 조회는 ITS로, 결제 확인은 RevenueCat으로, 다른 앱 목록은 OOTSSU 앱 목록 서버로 필요한 만큼만 보냅니다.
삭제와 보관
설정 → 내 데이터 → 저장된 데이터 삭제로 기기의 기록을 지웁니다(1.2.0 이전: 설정 → 계정 삭제). 서버에 보관하는 계정이나 사본은 없습니다.
추적 제한
광고 목적의 제3자 추적이나 개인정보 판매를 전제로 설계하지 않았습니다.
No account
RoadEye has no account and no sign-in. You can use every feature without giving us your name or email. Versions before 1.2.0 offered an optional Sign in with Apple that only kept Apple's user ID and, if you allowed it, your name and email in your device Keychain — it never left the device and unlocked nothing. From 1.2.0 the app no longer offers sign-in and deletes those leftover values from the Keychain when it starts.
What is stored on your device
- Saved routes: the names and coordinates of the origin and destination of routes you've viewed, so you can reopen your usual trip in one tap. The free version shows the five most recent and RoadEye Pro shows all of them; each distinct route is stored once, on the device, until you delete it. A route whose origin is "current location" is not saved.
- Favourite cameras (RoadEye Pro): the identifiers of the cameras you've starred, kept in the order you added them.
- Preferences: your selected language, the timestamp/version of the terms you accepted, whether you've seen the welcome screen, and small counters used to decide when to show the App Store rating prompt.
- Cached app list: the public list of other OOTSSU apps shown in Settings, cached so it can be displayed offline.
None of this is sent to us. We have no server-side copy.
What leaves your device, and to whom
- Location (only when you tap "Use current location"): the app asks for location permission at that moment, reads your position once and uses it as the route origin. That coordinate is sent to the map provider to compute directions (Apple Maps on iPhone, Google Maps Platform on Android) and is reflected in the map area RoadEye asks ITS about. It is not sent to us and is not saved.
- Place search: the text you type in the origin/destination fields is sent to the map provider to suggest places (Apple Maps on iPhone, Google Places on Android).
- Route and camera lookup: your origin and destination go to the map provider to compute the driving route. RoadEye then asks Korea ITS for the cameras inside the route's map area. Live video streams directly from ITS to your device.
- Purchases: RoadEye Pro is a one-time purchase processed by the App Store or Google Play. RevenueCat verifies the purchase so it can be unlocked and restored. RevenueCat assigns a random, anonymous app user ID (not linked to your name or email) and receives the purchase receipt, device/OS details and IP address needed for that.
- OOTSSU app list and promotions: the app downloads a public list of other OOTSSU apps from our app-directory server and a promotion banner configuration from ootssu.com. These requests contain no personal data beyond standard request metadata such as your IP address.
What we don't collect
- No account, name, email or phone number.
- No advertising identifiers and no tracking across other apps or websites.
- No contacts, photos, microphone or camera access.
- No analytics or crash reporting tied to your identity.
- No CCTV video is retained. The live feed streams directly from ITS to your device.
Third-party services we use
- Korea ITS National Transport Information Center (its.go.kr) — CCTV locations and HLS stream URLs. ITS receives standard request metadata (e.g., IP address) and the map area being queried. ITS policy applies.
- Apple MapKit (iPhone) — map, place search and driving directions. Apple's privacy policy applies.
- Google Maps Platform (Android) — map, Places autocomplete and Routes. Google's privacy policy applies.
- RevenueCat — purchase verification and restore, with an anonymous app user ID. RevenueCat's privacy policy applies.
- Apple App Store / Google Play — payment for RoadEye Pro.
How long data is kept
On-device data stays until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app (see Deletion for the iPhone Keychain exception). Purchase records are kept by Apple or Google and by RevenueCat so your purchase can be restored; we keep nothing on a server of our own.
Deletion
Open Settings in the app → Your data → Delete saved data. That erases your saved routes and favourite cameras from the device (and any leftover sign-in values from versions before 1.2.0). Your terms acceptance and language choice stay so the app doesn't start over. Your RoadEye Pro purchase is not removed — it belongs to your App Store or Google Play account and comes back with Restore purchase.
Because RoadEye has no account, there is nothing on our side to delete. If you want the anonymous RevenueCat purchase record removed as well, email us the order ID from your App Store or Google Play receipt and we will delete that RevenueCat customer record. Restoring the purchase later creates a new anonymous record. Uninstalling the app removes everything else that remains on the device. (One exception on iPhone: sign-in values saved by versions before 1.2.0 live in the iOS Keychain, which can survive uninstalling. Installing 1.2.0 or later and opening it once deletes them; or delete them in an older version via Settings → Delete Account.)
Children
RoadEye is intended for licensed drivers and adults arranging travel. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 17.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy we'll update the Effective date above and ask you to re-accept the terms on next launch. Corrections that describe existing behaviour more accurately, or that reduce what is collected, are recorded in the "Last updated" line.
