What we collect
- Workouts & sets you log — stored only on your iPhone (SwiftData). Repvy does not upload or sync your workout log. The only time set data leaves your device is when you ask for a weekly AI summary (see below).
- Account info — Repvy works without signing up. When you first use a server feature (a purchase, a weekly AI summary, or connecting an account), the app creates a private guest account: a random identifier with no name or email. If you choose to connect an account, we receive the email address, or the Apple / Google identifier, you connect (and the display name Apple or Google shares, if any).
- Purchase status (RevenueCat) — your account identifier and subscription state, used to verify Repvy Pro.
- Apple Health — Repvy only writes each completed workout to Apple Health as Functional Strength Training. It does not read your Health data, and nothing from Apple Health is sent to our server.
What we do NOT collect
- No third-party analytics, no tracking SDKs, no advertising IDs.
- No location, contacts, microphone, or camera.
- No data sold or shared for advertising.
AI weekly summary (Pro)
The first time you tap Generate, the app asks for your permission. When you allow it, the app sends your last 14 days of sets (date, exercise, weight, reps, RPE) to our server, which sends them to Anthropic's Claude API to write the summary. Your name and email address are not sent. Anthropic processes this data on our behalf, may retain API inputs and outputs for up to 30 days, and does not use them to train its models. The finished summary is stored on our server with your account so it is not generated twice in the same week, and it is shown only while Pro is active. You can withdraw your permission in Settings → Account. Summary requests are limited per account (and, when the subscription check is unavailable, per network) to prevent abuse; for this we keep only counts — dates and numbers, plus a salted one-way hash of the network address — never set data. Daily counts are deleted after 35 days and network counts after 7 days.
Where data lives
Your workout log lives on your iPhone. Our backend (Supabase) holds your account, a small profile record, your weekly AI summaries, and the request counts above. Each account can read only its own rows (row-level security). A guest account lives in this device's sign-in session — connect an account if you want your Pro purchase and summaries to follow you after reinstalling.
Third-party services
- Supabase — authentication and database.
- Anthropic (Claude API) — writes the weekly summary (see above).
- RevenueCat — subscription status; receives your account identifier, never workout data.
- Apple and Google — only if you connect or sign in with them.
Account deletion
Settings → Account → Delete account (guests: Delete my data), or see how to delete your account and data. This deletes your Repvy profile and AI summaries on our server and the workout log on this iPhone. OOTSSU apps share one sign-in service: your sign-in record is deleted too unless you use the same sign-in in another OOTSSU app, in which case it is kept for that app and no Repvy data remains linked to it. Request counts (numbers only, no content) are kept for the periods above and are no longer linked to you once your account is deleted. A new account starts with its own per-account count; the network and service-wide daily counts are not reset by deleting. Deleting your data does not cancel a subscription — cancel in iPhone Settings.
Children
Repvy is not directed to children under 13.
