Delete Your Account & Data

App: Plotta GPS (com.ootssu.plotta) — Developer: OOTSSU

You can permanently delete your Plotta data at any time, whether you signed in with an account or play as a guest. There are two ways to request deletion.

Option 1 — Delete in the app (recommended)

Open Plotta (no sign-in is needed for an Android guest).
Go to the Profile tab.
Tap Delete account (or Delete my data as a guest) at the bottom of the screen.
Confirm. Your Plotta data is removed immediately. If deletion fails, the app tells you and nothing is deleted. Afterwards the app continues as a new, empty guest.

Option 2 — Request by email

If you can no longer access the app, email ootssu@ootssu.com from the address associated with your account and ask us to delete it. We will verify ownership and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What is deleted

Your Plotta profile and display name (nickname).
Your sign-in record (guest identifier, or Google/Apple user ID / email) — unless you use the same OOTSSU sign-in in another OOTSSU app (see below).
Your private walking routes (raw GPS paths).
Your claimed land polygons.
Your event and activity history (areas, timestamps, leaderboard entries), cairns, friends, team membership, reports and reactions.
Plotta usage analytics linked to you, and your Plotta Plus public mark.

What is kept

No Plotta data about you is retained after deletion.
If you use the same OOTSSU sign-in in another OOTSSU app, your sign-in record (email or provider identifier) is kept for that other app only. Delete it from that app, or email us, to remove it too.
Store purchase records stay with Apple or Google. Deleting your data does not cancel a Plotta Plus subscription — cancel it in your store account.
Other players' lands are unaffected. Where one of your polygons formed a shared boundary with another player's land, only the geometric boundary that other players depend on may remain — it is no longer linked to you or your identity.

Retention period

In-app deletion takes effect immediately. Email requests are completed within 30 days. Routine backups that may briefly contain deleted data are purged on a rolling 30-day cycle.
